Hammers
My fascination with interactive art has pushed me to create uniquely decorated tools and hammers. Led by the concept of functional fantasy, I hope to create extraordinary tools for extraordinary craftsmen. Through that I wish my work can inspire and uplift simply by being used.
The designs and processes draw inspiration from historical artifacts, incorporating techniques such as carving, engraving, and inlay work. Each hammer, unless part of a series, is unique, to meet the needs of a workshop and the wants of an artist.
The video showcases me forge welding the body of a hammer and inlaying its sides with decorative damascus steel bands.

The Sun and The Stars
A forging hammer made for Emiliano Carrillo
featuring a logo inlaid in silver and geometric carvings.
Royal Chasing Hammer
Chasing hammer made for Jeffrey Hildebrandt from Royal Oak Armoury.
With inspiration taken from early medieval weaponry, this hammer is decorated with an engraved and inlaid brass centre, followed by textured inlays around it.
The Artios
The very hammer you can see me forge at the top of this page.
One rather ambitious project involving a forge welded pattern-welded steel inlay on both sides of the hammer head. Such technique has been used in the highest quality blades of the early medieval era. Accompanied by an intricate, layered carving of a godmask on one side and a bear on the other.
